ACCESS TO CITY CENTRE
Just a few minutes' walk from the apartment are bus and subway (Metro) stations for central Athens; unless you want to take a taxi or go on foot. All of the city's main destinations and attractions are within walking distance (15' to 50' max), while much less time is required by car or public transport (30' max).
On Foot
Within 1-2,5 km (15-25' walk) are the Pedion tou Areos, the National Archaeological Museum and Omonoia Square, and a little further, 3-4,5 km (45'-50' walk) are the National Garden, the Benaki Museum, Mount Lycabettus, the Acropolis, and the Athens Towers.
Metro
A little further (15') is Agios Nikolaos Metro Station (Line 1), with direct links to Omonoia, Thiseio, Monastiraki, Attiki Odos, Piraeus and Kifissia, as well as connections to other Metro Lines (2, 3) and the Suburban Railway (to Athens International Airport).
Bus
At a very small distance (4'), at Amerikis Square in Patission Street, there are bus stops to and from the city centre, and other destinations.

ACCESS TO THE PORT & AIRPORT
Access to and from Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) is about 35' by car or 60' by public transport. Access to and from the Port of Piraeus is roughly 20' by car or 50' by public transport.
